Art therapy can be defined in many ways, but the simplest way to define it is an application of the visual arts in a therapeutic context.
You don’t necessarily have to see a therapist in order to experience some of the therapeutic benefits of artistic expression.
There are many simple activities you can try from the comfort of your home such as art journaling, sketching, making collages, etc

Dyan Reaveley
Hello... come on in, I‘m Dyan Reaveley, signature designer for Ranger Ink and creator of Dylusions products.
I am a Yorkshire born and bred Brit who spends most of her time on the opposite side of the pond spreading my passion for Art Journalling while teaching/demonstrating how to use my Dylusions products & the importance of creating art for ourselves.
I own a teaching studio & store Art From the Heart, Harrogate, North Yorkshire.
I have four, grown up children, and four of the most gorgeous granddaughters in the world & grandson of handsomeness.
I am also owned by the grumpiest cat ever - Boo.
My hobbies consist of art journaling, Northern Soul, knitting, dress-making and tea drinking. If I'm not doing one I am doing the other.
My specialities include; luggage losing & shower screen shattering!
I struggle with mental illness, which makes life interesting to say the least. There is no shame in having mental illness and neither is talking about it!!
I hope that by speaking up about it, it will give hope and inspiration to others in the same position.

Meet the gorgeous Emmi,
Emmi is our amazing right hand woman, she’s truly indispensable.
She’s our organiser, there’s nothing this girl can’t do!
As you already know, You can find Emmi on all the classes making sure they run smoothly, helping with any queries and orders. Emmi Runs the website and deals with anything technical.
There’s never a problem she can’t fix!
She’s the Proud dog mum to Rex and even prouder wife to Vicky! And Now The most proudest Mum ever to the gorgeous Stanley!!
Her hobbies include anything dogs, football and sweets related!!

Jay Moore
Jay’s always been creative, her passion for art & design started in early childhood.
She studied Art & Design, surface pattern, screen printing, Lino printing, ceramics & Fine Art for Design at university.
Fabulous mum to Betsy & Otis,
Jay’s involved with the design work, social media & website.
If ever the office needs brightening up, she’s your girl, giggle a minute & guaranteed to bring a smile to everyone’s face!
