Online Class 4 – Inks and Faux Bleaching was a live class on – Sunday 17th May 2020 – 6pm UK Time
There is also a Facebook group that you can join where you will be able to meet the other students, post your pages, ask questions and join in the fun. Don’t worry if you can’t make the live as you can watch the video later.
Lets take a walk through Dyans journals and pick a page to re-create. This page contains one of Dyans favourite ink techniques – Faux bleach. You will start by learning how to create a beautifully ink blended page, then you will stamp gorgeous leaf designs and re-create the faux bleach effect. Adding more gorgeous inky colour and stamped images to finish. Join along with me as I create the page live or save the video to your facebook collection to re-create the page later.
Supplies
• Large sheets of mixed media card stock – Minimum 4 ( Dyan is using pages torn from her large Dylusions journal)
• Dylusions spray ink – Black Marble, plus one colour of choice (They must be inks not paints)
• Dylusions Stamps:
Branching out ( For the faux bleach effect) and personal choice for finishing the page.
• Dylusions Journal Block
• Glue Stick
• Inky water brushes to colour
• Tim holtz fine details water brush filled with water ( Or small paint brush and water to dip into)
• Non-Stick craft sheet
• Archival black ink pad
• Tim Holtz Scissors
• Black and white paint pens
• Kitchen Roll
• Optional – Sakura black glaze pen
