Description of class:
Dyan was live on Sunday 9th May 2021 at 6.30pm UK Time. There is also a Facebook group you can request to join where you will be able to meet the other students, post your pages, ask questions and join in the fun. Don’t worry if you can’t make the live as you can watch the video later.
Today we are going to create a gorgeously happy two page spread. I’ll be using a flip journal in landscape mode but all the larger journals will work.
Summer is almost here and it will be so nice to finally sit out and enjoy the garden. So we are going to recreate that in our journals.
We start with a simple gel plate and stencilled background and then go mad with a smorgasbord of stamped and cut out images. We will be using the fabulous head and figure from the stamp set – Sunshine girl but feel free to use a substitute.

• Dylusions Paints – blues, greens and white linen
• Dylusions Shimmer spray – Blue or white
• Dylusions stencils
• Dylusions Stamps ( again feel free to make substitutions, you don’t need as many as I’m using – just think summer garden) – Sunshine girl, foliage filers, stripy curlicues, everythings rosy, anatomy of a page, toadstoll town, Theres not much room in here, four by four, head n tails, glorious blooms
• Mixed media card stock for stamping
• Archival ink pad – Jet Black
• Scissors
• Dylusions glue stick
